WEDED is a company incorporated since 2009. The company's mission is the recycling and recovery of all used tire components in a ZERO WASTE context. After several years of SR & ED and the development of tire recycling technology able to achieve the vision of the company. It implemented its 2017 industrial operations by installing its process in Laurierville, Quebec in a factory of more than 1500 m2.
The industrial capacity of its facility allows processing over 10,000 metric tons annually. The technology developed by WEDED separates the tire components into three distinct parts: rubber, fiber and steel. Currently recovered rubber is granulated and sold to finished product manufacturers. WEDED has also developed a unique process that allows it to recycle recycled fiber from raw material to a plastic industry granule. WEDED also recycles agricultural and forestry tires, as well as different types of post-industrial rubber rejects within its operations.
